Prof. Dr. Melih Bulut was born on 09.01.1954. Graduated from Ankara Science High School, Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. He studied pediatric surgery at the same faculty and became an associate professor. In 1984 he founded the Pediatric Surgery Clinic in Istanbul Şişli Etfal Hospital. Since 1997, he served as chief doctor in International Hospital, Anadolu Health Center, Yeditepe University Hospitals. He received his professorship in 2005. He served as General Coordinator of Baskent University Marmara Region and General Director of Medicana International Istanbul Hospital. He received the Best Hospital Manager of the Year Award from the Hospital Magazine and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Hospital Manager Magazine. He was the president of the Health and Insurance Managers Association for a while. He volunteers on innovation, artificial intelligence, rare diseases and old age in cloud health. His Elderly Friends, founder of Health Cooperation Platforms, is an active member of the Target Nobel Initiative and Health Artificial Intelligence Group.
