Alex Setyan

I am a sophomore molecular biology and genetics student in Koç University. The reason why I have chosen this department is the fascinating mechanisms underlie in all of the biological systems. We as a group have chosen EB which is a rare hereditary condition which the patient develops blisters on the skin and the mucous membranes. The reason for choosing RDEB is we believe we can contribute to the discovery of the disease with our studies.

Ali Aygün Yaban

Ali Aygün Yaban is a sophomore medical student at Koç University. He is a member of the public health branch of the Koç University Medical Students Association. He is interested in new approaches to genetic diseases.

Dilda Sedefoğlu

Dilda Sedefoğlu is a sophomore medical student at Bahçeşehir University. She is interested in genetic researches as a new era of modern medicine. Getting involved in scientific work always inspires her, and she is consistently ready to do scientific work with her investigative spirit.

Melih Çakar

I am a sophomore biological science student at Middle East Technical University. Also, I am an active member of METU Biology and Genetic Society which aims to increase the public’s awareness in the field of biological sciences besides the academic competence of its members. My great passion is to explore novel approaches to gene treatment techniques to provide a better high-quality life span.

Zeynep Aslı Durak

I am sophomore medical student at Bahçeşehir University. I am interested in with genetics for a long time and I want to do research on this topic. Thanks to this challenge, we will make a project with my friends about the treatment of rare diseases, which is one of my biggest interests.
