Züleyha DEMİRCİ

She is a 4th year student of molecular biology and genetics at Istanbul University. While she has internship experiences in many institutions so far, she helps volunteers in many social platforms and student clubs. She was also the founding chairman of the club called “Bilim Ofisi” at Istanbul University. She has been working as an editor, author and author responsible for a scientific resource called “Molekulce” for a while and takes an active role in a community called “Geleceğin Bilimi”. In addition, she is currently working as an project coordinator and team member in 2 different Tübitak projects and a Teknofest project. Her areas of interest are Cancer Stem Cells, Cancer Immunogenetics and Cancer Microenvironment and she continues research on these subjects, especially on HCC (HepG2 cell line). She is here to improve herself in terms of genetic therapy approaches.

Rümeysa ÖZBEN

She is a 3th year student of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Uskudar University. She knows English with advanced level, Arabic with upper mediate level and German with beginner level. She interests in Epigenetics.

Elmas Merve SAYAN

She is a 3th year student of molecular biology and genetics at Uskudar University and also she is a double major student of computer engineering. She knows English with advanced level, Arabic with upper mediate level. She interests in bioinformatics, immunology, genetics and other subjects. She is involved in volunteer activities such as Kızılay, ÜÜ IEEE, Geleceğin Bilimi, Youth Council of Uskudar. She tries to learn playing ney and making chinas. With this challenge, she wants to improve her skills in genetic therapy approach and other skills.

Ayşe Ceylin ÇELEBİ

She is a 4th year student of molecular biology and genetics at Istanbul Medeniyet University. She is the founding chairman of Bilim Ofisi at İstanbul Medeniyet University. She is currently doing internship in 2 different places, in two different fields at the same time. Due to her interest in Astrobiology, she is a Research Associate in the Blue Marble Space Institute’s Young Scientist Program. In addition to her interest in Astrobiology, she is also interested in neuroscience, tissue engineering, microbiology and a variety of genetic treatments. The reason why she is in this competition is to improve herself in the field of interest.

Melisnur ŞAHİN

She is a 3th year student of the department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Gebze Technical University who is passionate about embryology, neuroscience, in vitro and stem cell treatments and learning all areas of the department. She knows English with advanced level. She helps volunteers in many social platforms and student clubs such as TEMA, GTU IEEE, Geleceğin Bilimi (Sağlığın Geleceği Atölyesi) etc. She actively plays the piano. In addition she is an equestrian and actively engaged in horse riding. Finally, researching, learning about humanity and vitality, and reading books are also among her hobbies.
