Gizem YAĞCIOĞULLARI
My name is Gizem Yağcıoğulları. I am a 4th-year undergraduate medical student at Izmir University of Economics. My interests are neurodegenerative diseases, especially Alzheimer’s disease, bioinformatics and genetics. I plan to pursue a research career in one of these fields in the future. During my undergraduate education, I actively participated TURKMSIC, EMSA and EKOBAT. I gave special importance to take part in social awareness projects.

Ayşe Buket TAŞKIN
My name is Ayşe Buket Taşkın. I am an undergraduate student at the Izmir University of Economics School of Medicine, Izmir/Turkey. Currently, I am a 4th-grade med student who has a passion for scientific research. I am trying to gain different perspectives for my future career and am interested in bioinformatics, neuroscience, genetics, and psychiatry. I am also actively participating and taking role in social awareness events to be a health advocate. My other interests include dancing, singing, and teaching.

Aleyna ÜNVER
My name is Aleyna Ünver. I am currently a fourth-year medical student at the Izmir University of Economics. I wanted my passion for science and research to be in my life from the moment I first experienced this feeling. I took parts in scientific projects both in high school and university. My interest in genetics has increased with the “Clinical Bioinformatics” course that I took in my university. Besides being interested in science, I am strongly into participating and being active in social awareness projects.
